Did you know that the Grand Canyon is the Eden in many of the local tribes Creation stories?
According to the Zuni, people were formed as human beings deep down in the earth in the heart of the Grand Canyon. At Ribbon Falls, or Chimik’yana’kya dey’a, is the place where their people emerged into Creation.
