When I was in college, Andrew Harpold, introduced me to this *gem* of a zany musical, Thoroughly Modern Millie starring Julie Andrews and Carol Channing.
I will forever associate Andrew with Thoroughly Modern Millie. I mean, who doesn’t love Julie Andrews comically ending up in opioid dens and unknowingly avoiding being kidnapped by the Madam of a brothel?
P.S. The Original Sound Track Album “Thoroughly Modern Millie” vinyl recording is just as pleasantly enjoyable for an afternoon listen.
